How Neurofeedback Works

Human brain activity produces electromagnetic energy. In a NeurOptimal® training session, this energy is recorded using tiny EEG sensors placed on your scalp and ears. Information on your brainwave activity is broadcast back to your brain through ear phones as auditory stimuli. As you listen to specifically designed music during a training session, the music is briefly interrupted when your brain is in an unproductive state. Your brain makes instant adjustments to restart the music and learns what it is required to remain in an optimum zone.

Brain Training Sessions

Initial Consultation involves client history and goals to be achieved. A personalized program will be specifically designed for each client after consideration of clients needs. Due to past successes and client feedback we recommend brain training sessions twice per week minimum for maximum benefits. As results are achieved, an option will be available to continue with a tune-up maintenance program.

The client will be comfortably reclined in a zero gravity chair while sensors are applied, where the pre and post baseline of the brains activity is recorded. During the training portion, specifically designed music is fedback through ear phones while the client relaxes through 4 phases of ZenMode music. These 4 phases allow the brain to pass through a warm up, a light challenge, challenge and cool down. Similar to a work out at the gym for the body, but it’s a work out for the brain.

How Many Sessions

As everyone is unique and has specific needs, the amount of sessions vary. Most clients report noticeable positive change between 5 to 20 sessions. However, clients report feelings of peace and improved sleep patterns after the initial session. For deeper transformation more sessions are suggested.

Post BrainTraining

A new pattern of functioning is integrated and brings immediate transformation. The brilliance of the brain’s capacity for dynamic change is mirrored in your daily life. As the brain integrates this change, the CNS regulates itself, releasing past patterns of trauma and imbalance. Symptoms fall away effortlessly as the CNS comes back into homeostasis. As this is achieved, further training enhances a highly tuned brain pattern, resulting in higher achievement and optimum performance in all areas of life.

Suggestions for Optimum Results.

It is recommended alcohol is avoided 1 week prior / 1week post brain training. Increased high quality protein and Essential fatty acids intake while training. Increase water consumption. Maintain regular sleep patterns. Refrain from commencing new vigorous physical programs.
